THE WORD AT HEROES OF GRACE
It is all about His word in you, when Paul was in prison he wrote to Timothy in the 2nd Timothy v 9 “For the cause of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I’m in these chains. Yet, we know that the word of the God cannot be chained or imprisoned. God says, “My word will accomplish what I have sent it to do, it cannot be imprisoned”. The word of God walks through prison walls, mental institutions, hospital rooms, through depression. It is time to get the word of God in our mouths. Speak it and God will honour His word. God always watches over His word – not our word, His word. So many of us let our circumstances dictate to us, but what about saying what God says about your circumstance? If we start speaking God’s word and place His word above our situations, our situations will definitely change. The word of God states that He watches over His word.
Let us understand that and know that the eyes of the Lord run to and from on this earth and He is looking for people who have an undivided attention toward the Most High God. This attention which God is seeking relates directly back to the word of God. What do you do with the word of God in your mouth? You have to say it, you have to speak it. The Word is nigh thee, even in thy heart and mouth to speak it. Romans 10:8, Deuteronomy 30 v 14. It is not good enough to just have the word, you must speak it.
It is the spoken word of God that carries power. You therefore have to get the word of God in you. God said, “Let there be light, let there be a dividing of the waters, let there be a sun, Let there be trees and flowers, and let there be animals”. The word of God is not chained or imprisoned. It must be confessed.
The word of God is sharp, strong, powerful, it reaches right into my life, bringing division between the spirit and soul and bone and marrow. God watches over this word to perform it. I declare that the Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not be in want, my head shall be anointed with oil, my cup shall run over, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
I will not be in bondage or slavery, because Christ has set me free and therefore I am free indeed. I declare that because of the word of God, I am more than a conqueror and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am above and not beneath, I am the head and not the tail. By the stripes of Jesus I am healed. I am prosperous in all my ways. God is for me and nothing can be against me. The word of God is alive and speaks to me right now in Jesus’ Name. John 10 v 10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that the might have it more abundantly.
Jesus has said that He came so that we can have life and have it more abundantly. Not just abundantly, but more abundantly. I want you to know that if a thief steals from you, Jesus has come to restore. A thief will come and go, he does not come to steal by staying at your home but will come to steal and then go away. In contrast, Jesus has come so that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
